Post COVID Qatar visa requirements

The visitors from green zone countries do not need to quarantine.
• The test for COVID should be taken by visitors. And it should be taken 72 hours before their arrival at Qatar airport.
• Fully vaccinated visitors from the red zone will also need to take an RT PCR test to gain entry into Qatar. Visitors from red category countries have to undergo quarantine for at least two days and COVID 19 results are also needed. 
• The recognized exceptional red zone countries should take tests before arrival to ensure COVID 19 safety and must also adhere to the guidelines. A two-day quarantine in the hotel after reaching Qatar.
• Tourists or visitors who are not vaccinated should quarantine themselves. The visitors will need to stay in quarantine hotels for 7 days. On your 6th day of quarantine in Qatar undergo Covid 19 RT PCR test. Visitors can leave the hotel if they test negative are not infected. The visitor must test negative as passengers with positive RT PCR results will not get entry. These policies are only accepted for green zone and red zone countries. 
• The visitors from exceptional red zone countries who are not vaccinated can not enter Qatar.
• COVID 19 vaccination certificate of the visitor arriving at Hamad international airport in Qatar or at other destinations.

Entry requirements for Qatar

• Screening at the airport
• Etheraz application- Visitors must download the etheraz application on their mobiles. The Etheraz app will show visitors COVID 19 test or health status for foreign national and it is needed to get entry in Qatar. The visitors with fully vaccinated status stay green.
• The health status in Etheraz app will stay yellow for quarantined Visitors.
• The cost of the RT PCR COVID 19 test for visitors is QR 160.
• Other requirements like hotel reservations, enough funds, bank statements, etc.

Qatar tourist visa

The Qatar tourist visa is issued to travelers, Visitors, and foreign citizens visiting the country for travel purposes. If you are a traveler from visa-free entry to Qatar then you do not need to obtain a Qatar visa for tourist purposes. Qatar visa for tourists is a single permit visa that allows 30 days stay in the country. It allows foreign nationals to explore Qatar and stay in the country but with a valid Qatar visa only. Approved vaccines by Qatar government for foreign visitors

Currently, only a few vaccines have been accepted and recognized by the Qatar government. Other visitors who are vaccinated but it is not accepted by the Qatar government. Then the visitor will be considered as not vaccinated.
